āœ… Both channels working?

If you can hear audio from both left and right, your stereo speakers are working correctly.

āš ļø Only hearing one side?

If one channel is silent, your speaker may be blocked by water or debris — try our Water Ejector tool. If still silent, the speaker may need hardware repair.

How to Use the Sound Test

  1. Use headphones or put on a flat surfaceFor most accurate results, use stereo headphones or place your phone flat with speakers facing up.
  2. Select a channelClick LEFT to test only the left speaker, RIGHT for right only, or BOTH for full stereo output.
  3. Listen carefullyEach channel should sound equally loud and clear. Muffled, quiet, or silent channels indicate a problem.
  4. Test different frequenciesTry 440 Hz, 1 kHz, and 5 kHz to check how your speaker performs across the frequency range.
  5. Take action based on resultsIf a speaker sounds muffled after water, use our Water Ejector. If permanently silent, visit a repair shop.
